Meet The Team

Amelia Cook

Amelia Cook is a 9th grader at The Potomac School. She just started robotics and also loves riding horses, writing and reading outside of school. She started robotics because she heard about it from her friends and thought it would be a new and fun opportunity.

Harper Malesardi is a 9th grader at The Potomac School in Mclean Virginia. She has been doing robotics for 5 years and also loves playing softball and volleyball outside of robotics. She first started with Lego robotics because she loved playing with Legos when she was little and thought it would be a fun experience. After one year of Lego robotics, she loved it and decided to keep participating in robotics!

Harper Malesardi

Vexie is our robot, she was built in 2015-16 and is continually being updated.  She enjoys catapulting stars, hanging from poles, and trying to jump fences. (But we try to keep her from doing it; supposedly it's illegal!)

Kelsey Norton

Sarah Raman is a 9th grader at The Potomac School in Mclean, Virginia. This is her first year doing robotics. Outside of school she is a competitive springboard diver, and loves to travel, read, and write. She started robotics after her friends invited her to join their team, and is looking forward to getting more involved in STEM opportunities.

Kelsey Norton is a 9th grader at The Potomac School in Mclean Virginia. She has been doing robotics for 7  years and plays soccer, sings, and bakes outside of school. She began robotics because of her interest in engineering and designing even at a young age.  She has continued her interest over the past 7 years because of how robotics opened her eyes to new opportunities involving STEM.
